ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

Prohibited activities

Violations get credentials revoked. We cannot trace activity back through connection logs — so enforcement runs on provider complaints and node-level technical signals, not browsing records.

Outbound spam

Outbound port 25 is blocked at the node level — this one isn't enforced by after-the-fact reports.

Scanning and attacking hosts

Includes port scanning, DDoS, brute force. Provider complaints trigger immediate action.

Child sexual abuse material

Handled through a fully separate process and reported to NCMEC. We do not investigate or view content ourselves.

Sharing credentials

Simultaneous multi-country connections trigger review. Your 5 devices are for you.

Reselling or open exits

Turning a node into a public proxy gets the whole service terminated by providers.

Evading node rate limits

Rate limits apply from day one — they protect everyone else's bandwidth.

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the hi-vpn service and is incorporated into theTerms of Service. It protects the Service, our infrastructure providers, and other users. Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund, and, where required, reporting to authorities.

1. Prohibited activities

Network abuse

Illegal content and activity

Account misuse

Harm to the Service

2. Bandwidth and fair use

The Service is subject to your plan's limits. We record aggregate bandwidth and concurrent-connection counts to enforce these limits and to detect prohibited sharing. Excessive use that degrades service for others may be limited.

3. Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate access for suspected violations, with or without prior notice, depending on severity. We enforce this AUP based on real-time signals and reports.Enforcement does not require, and does not rely on, logs of your browsing activity(see the Privacy Policy) — we act on aggregate signals, abuse reports, and infrastructure-provider notices. We cooperate with valid legal process to the extent of data we actually hold.

4. Reporting abuse

Complaints forwarded by providers or third parties get a responsewithin 24 hours, no exceptions. To report a violation, including copyright (DMCA) or CSAM concerns, contactabuse@hi-vpn.com (general abuse) orlegal@hi-vpn.com (legal/DMCA notices). The core fact in every response: because we do not log client IPs, we cannot map a complaint to a specific user — that is deliberate design, not evasion. We will never misrepresent what data we do or do not hold, and we will never start logging in order to respond to a complaint.

DMCA: Copyright owners may submit takedown notices todmca@hi-vpn.com. Notices must include the information required under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3).

5. Changes

We may update this AUP. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
