These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Heidi Technology, Inc. ("Heidi," "we," "us"), a Delaware corporation, governing your use of the hi-vpn service (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, ourPrivacy Policy and ourAcceptable Use Policy, which are incorporated by reference.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into contracts. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service is lawful in your jurisdiction (see Section 9).
2. The Service
hi-vpn provides encrypted VPN connectivity using the Cisco AnyConnect–compatible SSL VPN protocol. The Service may be accessed through your operating system's built-in clients or compatible third-party clients.
3. Accounts
- · You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account
- · One account is licensed to one individual or entity.Account sharing, sublicensing, reselling, or otherwise providing access to third parties is prohibited(see the Acceptable Use Policy). Concurrent-connection limits apply per your plan — currently 5 devices
- · We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy
4. Subscriptions, billing, and renewal
Website subscriptions (via Stripe)
- · New subscriptions include a 7-day free trial; cancel during the trial and you are charged nothing
- · If not cancelled, billing starts when the trial ends, and the subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled
- · You may cancel at any time through your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.Fees already charged after the trial are non-refundable
- · Prices may change with notice; changes apply to subsequent billing periods
App store subscriptions (Apple / Google, if listed)
Billing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by the respective app store's rules and are managed through your app store account. Refunds for app store purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their policies, not by us.
5. Acceptable use
Your use is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy. Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.
6. Service availability — "AS IS"
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times or in all locations; that any particular server, protocol, or connection will remain accessible (network conditions, third-party blocking, and censorship measures are outside our control); or that the Service will meet your specific requirements. You acknowledge that VPN connectivity may be degraded or blocked by networks, governments, or third parties, and that this does not constitute a failure of the Service on our part.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- · We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill
- · Our total aggregate liability arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the claim
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Heidi from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
9. Legal compliance and your responsibility
VPN use, and access to certain content, is regulated or restricted in some jurisdictions.You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all laws applicable to you.We do not encourage or condone any unlawful use. The availability of the Service in any location does not constitute advice that such use is lawful there.
10. Termination
- · You may terminate by cancelling your subscription and discontinuing use
- · We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, for legal reasons, or upon discontinuation of the Service
- · Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) survive
11. Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes arising from these Terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware. The Service does not currently impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver.
